'LeafandStone sprang from a vision: to share true Neapolitan pizza with Rome. Established by the Bianchi lineage in 1985, our pizzeria was originally a small family endeavor, preserving recipes that have been passed through generations.
Marco Bianchi, our progenitor, mastered the craft of pizza making during her adventures across Italy, learning from renowned pizza chefs in Naples—the birthplace of pizza. After her return to the UK, she aspired to replicate the enchantment of authentic Italian pizza, adhering to classical techniques and superior ingredients.
Starting as a quaint pizzeria with just 12 seats, we've evolved into a cherished local enterprise, though our dedication to excellence and genuineness remains steadfast. We continue practicing traditional wood-fired oven cooking, prepare our dough from scratch daily, and seek out top-tier ingredients.
Presently, 'LeafandStone is still within the hands of the Bianchi household, with the second generation at the helm, guiding our enthusiastic crew. Despite adopting a few modern techniques, the essence of our establishment endures: serving delectable, real pizza that unites patrons.
